Chemical peels
Overview:
One of the most traditional methods for skin rejuvenation are chemical peels. It is the most popular method used to treat acne and prevent scarring. Many different types of acids with various concentrations are used for peeling and they include salicylic acid (SA peel), Glycolic acid, Jessner® solution, TCA (trichloroacetic acid) and many others. These are patient tailored according to the condition being treated.

- Please note: the higher the concentration of the acid, the deeper the sloughing of the skin and the better the results, however the more downtime required
