Teeth grinding treatment
Overview:
Teeth grinding can lead to headaches as well as hypertrophy or enlargement of the masseter muscle, which is a large muscle that moves the jaw. This results in an unwanted square shape of the face. When injected into this muscle, Botox® relaxes it and reduces the wear and tear on the teeth due to grinding. It also decreases the size of the muscle, restoring the oval attractive shape of the face.
