Skin tags
General overview:
Skin tags usually occur when clusters of collagen and blood vessels become trapped inside thicker areas of skin. They can also be caused when skin rubs against another area of skin as a result of continuous friction (for instance in folds of the neck and armpits, but can also occur anywhere on the body). This condition is linked to obesity and pregnancy, and is usually familial.
Treatment options:
- Electrocautery
