Solar Lentigo Treatment
Overview:
With age, the appearance of the hands changes as do the face and other parts of the body. Extrinsic aging of the hands occurs due to exposure to either the sun or chemical irritants. They result in solar lentigines which are hyperpigmented areas on the hands that develop over time. These are treated with skin resurfacing using fractional laser, chemical peels, Intense Pulse light laser (IPL), Er:YAG laser or Q-switched laser.
